Goshen Democratic Party Guiding Beliefs

• We believe in equal rights for all, including the right to free speech, the right to vote, the right to privacy and all those rights guaranteed by our Constitution

• We believe in the dignity and worthiness of respect of all persons

• We oppose the unjust treatment of any group or individuals

• We support the rights of workers

• We support equitable access to opportunity for all

• We believe in an equal education for all of our children, based on fact, reason, and science, and free from control by partisan political agendas

• We call for respect for, and the preservation of, our environment, and we support renewable energy to counter the dangers from climate change

• We oppose the extreme and inequitable concentration of wealth in the hands of a few

• We believe that our economy and government should work for everyone

• We believe that universal healthcare is a right and that those struggling and in need deserve the support of a public social and economic “safety net

• We believe that everyone has a right to affordable housing and the right to earn an income that meets all their basic needs

• We believe that our diversity is our strength

• We believe that democracy is essential and must be defended.

We meet the 3rd Wednesday of Each Month at 7 pm at the Westinghouse Estate, 62 Old Chester Rd.
